Former waste-coal plant in Nesquehoning. Bitfarms’ August 5, 2025 release named T5 as partner to advance an HPC/AI campus and pointed to a 1 GW pipeline in Pennsylvania. Bitfarms’ CEO later told Data Center Dynamics the site has a firm contract for 350 MW by 2028, with room toward 500 MW or more.
We size the assessed-value sketch on the 350 MW that is actually contracted, not the 1 GW aspiration. That is still $3.5 billion of taxable buildings against a $63 million borough and a $140 million school district.
